Getac P470 semi-rugged notebook computer is the entry level model in Getac's rugged range. Powerful performance & wireless connectivity is ensured by Intel® Centrino® Mobile Technology, Core Duo processor & a dedicated graphics processor. Mitac P 470 notebooks are equipped with a 14" WXGA daylight readable wide touchscreen display, with optional sunlight readability. The standard WLAN interface can be enhanced with optional integrated 3G communication module to provide optimum network accessibility. Other options include webcam, GPS, Bluetooth®. The P470 combines performance and protection with the magnesium alloy case, shock-mounted hard drive and spill resistant keyboard.

For tough environments, the P-470 also provides security protection for valuable data with a TPM 1.2 module, fingerprint scanner and optional Smart Card reader.
