GoBook®
XR-1 rugged
notebook computer is the first computing platform to carry the General
Dynamics Itronix brand
and is
as powerful & rugged as it is ergonomic and portable.
The XR1 integrates
the new Intel® Core Duo 1.83GHz processor,
removable shock-mounted hard drive for data swapping & security
and simultaneous support of four integrated radios, including GPS.
The XR1 features a 12.1" outdoor viewable touchscreen XGA display,
NiteVue™ 'glow in the dark' keyboard & compact form factor,
weighing only 3.1Kg. Meeting military specifications for ruggedisation, GoBook® XR-1 can perform in conditions that would stop ordinary notebooks, operating at -23°C to 60°C and in rain of over 100mm per hour. See MIL-STD 810F & IP54 results. Optional compliance for Hazardous Locations (UL 1604 Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D) is available, certified for use in US/Canada.
