A790 ultra rugged notebook
computer is designed and built to survive the harshest environments,
meeting MIL-STD-810F (ATEX) and IP54, complete with removable shock-mounted
hard drive. Available with 12.1 or 14.1" display, the A-790 features
extreme versatility with two multi bays & optional expansion chassis.
Complementing
this rugged multifunctional notebook is a state of the art security
package with TPM & the option to include biometric fingerprint
device & smart card reader. Standard
options include sunlight-readability,
touchscreen, backlit keyboard & multiple
wireless communications. The Mitac A Series provides exceptional expandability with: • Optional Expansion chassis, accomodating 2 x PCI or 2 x ISA cards • Two bays, enabling a choice of options including: • Bay 1 - 2nd Battery, 2nd HDD, Optical drive • Bay 2 - 3rd Battery, FDD, GPS, HSDPA, SmartCard, Serial, PCMCIA |
